University Placement Programme

This is a real work placement, with real responsibility - you won’t be making up the numbers and if it’s a desk job you want then this is not for you! This is a work placement that gives you real responsibilities real fast and will recognise you as a vital and integral part of the Store Management Team.

Successful candidates will manage a busy section of the Store and be in charge of a team of staff. You will be achieving results, having fun and getting great job satisfaction.

Our Management Placement Programme is very well regarded by our Partner Universities and provides Placement Managers with invaluable commercial and management experience to complement their University studies.

Training Programme

Our Management Placement Programme is comprehensive and intense. You will cover a 9 week store based Training Programme to prepare you to take up the role of Department Manager and from the very outset you will be expected to take control of your training.

Your progress will be nurtured in store by your General Store Manager and your Regional Training Manager. You will be given the opportunity to learn, develop and demonstrate your skills and knowledge in Management throughout the programme. Your knowledge and understanding will be appraised in the Store regularly throughout your Training Programme. The ongoing support that you receive will complement your individual effort, good time management and real organisational skills.

Following successful completion of the Management Training Programme, you will graduate to Department Manager, taking full responsibility for a department of the store.
