Jack Slate is accompanied by his canine partner, Shadow, who can attack enemies on command. In Dead to Rights Retribution for Xbox 360, you can take control of Shadow as he hunts his criminal prey. Shadow uses stealth and vicious attacks whereas Jack prefers to take out his villains with guns and his bare hands.

Vice-cop Jack Slate returns to Grant City, a bust up town falling to the worst excesses of crime, greed and corruption, to fight and expose the criminally infested that will stop at nothing to exert their deadly influence over the crumbling metropolis. Join Jack as he and Shadow find each other and become partners and encounter a variety of ruthless gangs in the filthy slums of Grant City, each equipped with their own unique abilities and fighting style that will test Jack to his limits.
